Description
The Marketing Director is responsible for leading Life Action's overall marketing strategy, as well as overseeing and managing various marketing activities to promote products, services, events, and raising awareness of the Life Action brand. The Marketing Director will work closely with the
content, fundraising, and program teams throughout the organization.
7. Key Responsibilities:
7.1 Strategic Planning - Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. The marketing strategy should be developed in collaboration with our content and advancement teams, focusing on, but not limited to promoting Life Action's events, retreats, family camps, programs, services, products, and other offerings. Set goals and track leads generated, sales numbers, and number of attendees for each of our programs and events.
7.2 Team Leadership - Give leadership to the Marketing efforts of Life Action through building and collaborating with both internal and external marketing professionals, creatives,
fundraising/advancement, and Life Action programing leaders to accomplish our marketing
objectives.
7.3 Marketing Campaigns - Create and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, such as digital marketing, traditional advertising, social media, and content marketing. Marketing
campaigns will promote Life Action church events, family camps, father & son retreats, mother &
daughter retreats, men's retreats, women's retreats, leadership coaching, counseling & care
programs, ministry readiness program, resources, and more.
7.4 Brand Awareness - Develop and implement ways to increase our general brand awareness
through swag, partnerships, sponsorships, conference booths, and more.
7.5 Digital Properties - Develop and implement online marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, website marketing, and social media marketing. Oversee Life Action websites ensuring they are up to date, effective, and secure. These sites include LifeAction.org,
LifeActionCamp.com, and ConsentiaGroup.com.
7.6 Social Media Channels - Oversee the social media strategies for Life Action in order to best grow and engage these audiences.
7.7 Marketing Automations - Oversee the marketing automations within our constituent
management software (Virtuous) ensuring they are as effective as possible in engaging, educating, and promoting what we offer to our audiences.
7.8 Analytics and KPI's - Monitor and analyze marketing metrics and key performance indicators to assess campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
8. Skills, Abilities, Characteristics and Physical Demand
8.1 Experience - Several years of experience in marketing and in-depth marketing experience in print, digital, social, web, and email marketing. Previous experience in a marketing leadership role.
8.2 Strategic Thinker - Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to develop and execute a marketing roadmap.
8.3 Leadership - Effective leadership and team management skills, with the ability to
inspire and guide a team to achieve marketing goals.
8.2. Skills - Good organization skills, dependable, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines.
8.3. Alignment - Spiritually mature believer and able to agree with Life Action's Statement of Faith and a passion for Life Action's mission.
