Full Job Description
Position Summary & Accountability:

The Marketing Director, Biomarkers, is responsible for leading the marketing strategy for Photocure's growing molecular diagnostics and biomarker portfolio (AssureMDx). This position will develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that accelerate physician adoption, support commercial growth, strengthen market access, and establish the foundation for future product expansion across the precision medicine portfolio.

This role will initially focus on commercialization of centralized laboratory-developed testing (LDT) services while supporting the long-term strategic transition toward distributed FDA-regulated in vitro diagnostic (IVD) products.



Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy
  • Lead commercial launch readiness planning, including launch milestones, customer targeting, message testing, field readiness, KPI development, and post-launch performance tracking.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive commercial marketing strategies supporting the biomarker portfolio.
  • Build annual and multi-year strategic marketing plans aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Identify market opportunities through customer research, competitive intelligence, physician insights, reimbursement changes and market analytics.
  • Develop product positioning, segmentation, targeting, and messaging strategies.
  • Analyze physician utilization trends, customer segmentation, referral behavior, and commercial performance.
  • Develop dashboards and performance metrics that guide commercial decision making.
  • Lead annual marketing planning and budget development.


Product Marketing
  • Lead lifecycle management of current and future molecular diagnostic products.
  • Develop differentiated positioning and value propositions for physicians, hospitals, laboratories, payers, and integrated delivery networks.
  • Partner with Clinical and Medical Affairs to translate scientific evidence into clinically meaningful marketing materials.
  • Develop launch strategies for new products, indications, and market expansions.
  • Create promotional materials that comply with applicable regulatory and promotional requirements.
  • Lead development of integrated digital marketing strategies across physician and healthcare professional audiences.


Commercial Excellence
  • Partner closely with Commercial Sales Leadership to develop sales enablement tools, customer messaging, objection handling resources, competitive positioning, and training programs.
  • Oversee development and implementation of physician and patient-facing digital portals that support education, engagement, ordering workflows, and adoption.
  • Support key account strategies for integrated health systems and Large Urology Group Practice Associations (LUGPA).
  • Collaborate with Market Access to communicate reimbursement, clinical utility, and health economic value propositions.


Scientific Communications
  • Translate complex molecular biology, genomics, clinical validation studies, and health economic evidence into compelling commercial messaging.
  • Support development of conference materials, scientific exhibits, educational programs, and commercial publications.
  • Collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and professional societies to increase awareness of the company's diagnostic portfolio.
  • Support guideline adoption initiatives through evidence-based marketing.


Cross Functional Cooperation
  • Partner effectively across Global Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Research & Development, Market Access, Laboratory Operations, Quality, Finance, and Executive Leadership.

Education and Experience Needed:
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Marketing, Business, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 8-12 years of progressive commercial experience within molecular diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or precision medicine, including previous field sales experience;
  • Experience within urology, oncology or bladder cancer mandatory
  • Proven Marketing strategy development and execution
  • Experience launching and commercializing molecular diagnostic products across CLIA laboratory services, FDA-regulated IVDs, or both, strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Medicare reimbursement, Local Coverage Determinations (LCDs), and diagnostic coding.
  • Experience working with physician specialty societies including the American Urological Association (AUA), Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO), or related organizations.
  • Global experience, including collaboration with European teams
  • Proven ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
