MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS MANANGERSummary: As a Marketing & Communications Manager you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing and communications initiatives that strengthen the company's brand, engage employees, support business development efforts, and showcase the organization's people, projects, capabilities, and culture.
Working across departments, business units, and geographic locations, this role develops compelling content and communications for both internal and external audiences while helping maintain a consistent company brand and voice. The Marketing & Communications Manager will work closely with company leadership, operations, business development, safety, human resources, and other key stakeholders to identify stories and opportunities and translate complex information into clear, engaging communications. The Manager also works closely with Centuri's Marketing & Communications team to support shared initiatives, strengthen collaboration across the organization, and advance the One Centuri vision.
This is a hands-on role requiring a strong writer and communicator who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, build relationships throughout the organization, and move comfortably between strategic planning and day-to-day execution.
The salary range is $105,000.00 - $120,000.00.

Responsibilities: - Develop and execute internal communications that keep employees informed, engaged, and connected to the organization, including newsletters, company announcements, leadership communications, organizational updates, employee features, and project highlights.
- Partner with leadership and departments across the organization to communicate company initiatives, changes, milestones, and priorities clearly and effectively.
- Research, interview, write, edit, and develop compelling content that translates technical and operational information for a variety of audiences and platforms.
- Proactively identify and develop stories highlighting employees, projects, safety, capabilities, accomplishments, company culture, and the employee experience.
- Maintain editorial calendars, content pipelines, the company intranet, and other internal communication channels.
- Partner with Centuri's Marketing & Communications team to align messaging, share content and best practices, support enterprise communications, and elevate Riggs Distler's people, projects, capabilities, and accomplishments across Centuri channels.
- Manage and protect the Riggs Distler brand, ensuring consistency in messaging, voice, visual identity, and positioning across internal and external communications.
- Manage and develop content for company social media, website, and other external communication channels, while monitoring engagement and identifying opportunities to strengthen brand awareness and company reputation.
- Develop project profiles, case studies, articles, presentations, executive communications, capability materials, and other marketing collateral that showcases the company's expertise and supports business objectives.
- Partner with Business Development, Operations, and leadership to support proposals, pursuits, qualifications, presentations, client engagement, and other growth initiatives through messaging, content development, and marketing materials.
- Support conferences, trade shows, client events, sponsorships, employee events, and other business development and engagement activities.
- Develop communications supporting recruitment, career opportunities, employee recognition, professional development, employee programs, surveys, training, company culture, and engagement.
- Develop or coordinate creative assets for social media, internal communications, presentations, digital campaigns, events, and other marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate photography, video, and multimedia content, including capturing content in office and field environments when appropriate.
- Work with internal teams and outside vendors on graphic design, printing, promotional materials, photography, video production, and other creative needs.
- Maintain organized libraries of company photography, project information, marketing materials, and brand assets.
- Identify and coordinate submissions for company, project, safety, workplace, and industry awards, partnering with subject-matter experts to develop compelling submissions and leverage recognition across communications channels.
- Track engagement and performance across communications channels and use available analytics to inform future content and strategy.
- Support the company's Helping Hands philanthropic program by tracking contributions, sponsorships, partnerships, volunteer activities, and other community investments and helping communicate the company's philanthropic impact.
- Utilize emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to improve marketing and communications workflows, content development, and team efficiency.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines while coordinating with stakeholders throughout the organization, and assist with marketing vendors, subscriptions, platforms, promotional items, and related resources.
- Support the development and implementation of communications standards, processes, templates, and best practices.
Education, Skills, Experience Needed: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, English or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 of relevant professional experience in communications, marketing, public relations or a related area; strong internship experience may be considered.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to gather information from multiple stakeholders and turn it into clear, concise communications.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with social media management and digital content platforms.
- Experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Experience with WordPress is a plus.
- Photography, video or basic graphic-design capabilities are a plus.
- Willingness to occasionally travel or work outside normal business hours for company events
