Job Summary and Qualifications

The marketing and communications manager is responsible for the implementation of marketing and communications strategies to meet organizational goals, enhance the image of the Division, and support market share growth. Serves as an internal account executive to various internal clients to ensure marketing goals are met and projects are delivered in a timely manner.

The Marketing and Communications Manager will assist in developing and executing all marketing and communications efforts for the Division's employed physician practices. In coordination with the Division AVP / Director, Marketing, Division Practice Operations Teams, Division and Hospital Marketing leadership, the Marketing and Communications Manager will manage and support all activities related to physician onboarding and online marketing for physicians within the network. They will also assist in developing and executing internal communications for the Division's employed physician practices.

What you will do in this role:

Physician Onboarding and Off-boarding

  • Manages the physician on-boarding and off-boarding process:
  • New providers are fully on-boarded within 30 days of start.
  • Departing providers are off-boarded in accordance with requirements for patient notification.
  • Creates new physician collateral materials for promotional use by provider relation team and updates related service line collaterals.


Marketing and Communications

  • Assists in developing and implementing internal and external communications plans for our employed physician practices.
  • Supports practice managers on patient experience survey set up and reporting.
  • Works collaboratively with physician practice managers to monitor and respond to online reviews and support reputation management activities.
  • Leads employee engagement initiatives in our employed practices.
  • Ensures consumer-facing information for employed practices and providers is captured accurately, governed and flows from appropriate source(s) of truth to public platforms (websites, online listings, etc.).
  • Serves as a key point of contact supporting service offerings for physician referral and appointment services as part of NCCM (National Contact Center Management).


Integrated Marketing Comms Plans

  • Implements integrated marketing communications plans aligned with the division and enterprise strategic plan
  • Serve as project manager of planned campaigns
  • Work with outside agencies and internal resources to ensure brand standards are upheld and consistent across the division.
  • Manages reporting metrics to clearly articulate successes and identify opportunities for change.
  • Creates reports and presentations to share results with key stakeholders.


Digital and Print Content

  • In collaboration with the division M&CA team and corporate marketing shared services organization, contributes to the production, publication and maintenance of printed and digital materials for the brand including collateral, email campaigns, newsletters, mobile content, promotional and integrated marketing strategies, webinars, and social media content
  • Collaborate with facility CCE directors and service line leadership to ensure website and digital content is up-to-date and aligned with strategic goals
  • Works with the Regional Director, Digital Marketing Strategy to develop and implement integrated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Patient Market Intelligence (PMI) initiatives aligned with the division's marketing plans.
  • Reviews and manages service line collateral


Marketing Operations Support

  • Manage marketing budget as it relates to execution across all channels
  • Help manage all third-party vendor relationships (ad agency, print center, media buying agency) with an eye on building best practices and utilizing third-party capabilities to their fullest extent
  • Monitor ongoing expenses, process invoices, and track all marketing-related expenses.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies and procedures


What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years in a relevant role
  • Healthcare Marketing or Communications experience preferred
  • Effective management and communication skills; both orally and written
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management and public groups
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Detail-oriented
  • Experience developing and proofreading consumer-facing content
  • Familiarity with healthcare specialties, procedures and conditions not required, but preferred
  • Strong technical skills and experience with Microsoft Office Excel and other data management tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills working with diverse teams and stakeholders
