Full Job Description
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
The Marketing Analytics Manager supports measurement and insights across HCP and patient marketing, from awareness and engagement through lead capture, qualification, field conversion, therapy starts/orders, and retention/renewal.
This role helps maintain and improve the measurement framework that connects marketing activity to downstream commercial outcomes. The Manager works under Commercial Analytics COE and partners closely with Sales Analytics and Marketing to standardize KPIs, improve attribution and ROI reporting, support test-and-learn measurement, and translate performance trends into practical actions. The role also provides marketing funnel inputs to support planning and forecast discussions, including lead volume, conversion rates, campaign timing, and known operational constraints. This position is expected to be technically strong, hands-on with data and analytic tools, and able to explain insights clearly to business partners.

Marketing Analytics Manager's at Tandem are also responsible for:
  • Maintains a consistent measurement framework across HCP and patient journeys, connecting marketing activity to downstream commercial outcomes such as qualified leads, referrals/pipeline proxies, orders/starts, renewals, and retention.
  • Partners with the COE, Sales Analytics, Marketing, Finance, Strategy, IT/Data, CRM, and marketing automation teams to standardize KPI definitions, audience logic, routing rules, reporting requirements, and documented assumptions.
  • Develops and maintains recurring dashboards, weekly performance views, monthly scorecards, and leadership-ready summaries that provide trusted, consistent views of marketing and funnel performance.
  • Supports attribution and ROI reporting across patient and HCP marketing channels, including paid search, social, email, web/app engagement, education content, conferences, speaker programs, targeted outreach, and field-enabled initiatives.
  • Applies practical measurement methods, including first-touch, last-touch, rules-based attribution, channel-level performance views, campaign lift reads, pre/post analysis, matched comparisons, and holdout structures where feasible.
  • Conducts segmentation and targeting analysis for HCP and patient programs, including specialty, practice archetype, account potential, engagement, adoption indicators, eligibility/fit proxies, intent signals, journey stage, conversion propensity, and renewal indicators.
  • Links HCP marketing exposure to field execution and downstream outcomes, including lead routing quality, follow-up SLAs, territory or segment conversion, leakage reasons, cycle-time trends, and recommendations to continue, adjust, or stop programs.
  • Measures the patient funnel from lead capture through qualified lead, conversion, order/start, and retention/renewal where data is available, identifying where patients stall or drop out and sizing conversion and efficiency opportunities.
  • Translates performance trends, root-cause findings, and funnel insights into prioritized actions with clear owners, expected impact, and measurement approach.
  • Supports campaign taxonomy, UTM standards, event definitions, tagging requirements, data quality monitoring, dashboard enhancements, reporting improvements, and issue resolution.
  • Provides marketing funnel inputs for AOP, quarterly forecasts, Growth/Performance reviews, and business reviews, including lead volume, conversion rates, campaign timing, cycle-time lag, operational constraints, and expected lift from priority programs.
