Market Director - Advisory role, you will serve as a trusted partner to financial professionals, delivering market insights, portfolio construction expertise, and investment solutions that help advisors grow their businesses and better serve clients. In addition to a base salary, compensation includes incentive earnings tied to territory growth and achievement of sales objectives, creating significant upside for high performers.
- Develop and manage a designated territory in partnership with Internal Wholesalers to achieve sales goals and increase market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with financial professionals through regular in-person meetings, virtual consultations, and ongoing communication.
- Drive new business opportunities, retain assets, and support the execution of asset retention initiatives.
- Consult with advisors on a broad range of investment solutions, including:
- Mutual Funds
- ETFs
- Model Portfolios
- Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs)
- Index Funds
- Alternative Investments
- Retirement Solutions
- Provide timely market insights, portfolio construction guidance, product education, and performance information.
- Identify advisor needs and recommend investment strategies and solutions aligned with their business objectives.
- Support product launches, corporate initiatives, key accounts, conferences, and marketing campaigns.
- Create and deliver impactful sales presentations, product workshops, and educational events for financial professionals.
- Respond to advisor inquiries, provide sales and marketing materials, and assist with escalated service matters when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of advisor interactions and business development activities within CRM systems.
- Travel as needed to support territory management, advisor meetings, conferences, and industry events.
Who You Are- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years of financial services industry experience, preferably in investment sales, wholesaling, asset management, or advisor relationship management.
- Strong knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and portfolio construction concepts.
- Demonstrated success building relationships and driving sales results through Broker-Dealer and RIA distribution channels.
- Experience with Envestnet and other advisor technology platforms.
- Strong understanding of investment product distribution and advisor support.
- Experience presenting to financial professionals and leading educational events.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and consultative selling skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal partners and stakeholders.
- Ability to travel, up to 50%.

Licenses must be active or obtained within 90 days of hire.
Salary Range InformationSalary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
