Full Job Description
Your Role:

The Manufacturing Supervisor in Bellefonte, PA, will manage the daily operations of assigned manufacturing areas, while maintaining a high standard for product quality and employee safety. Job duties include:
  • Organizes and directs technician workflows across manufacturing and packaging while coaching, developing, and training direct reports to foster a culture of safety, quality, and high performance.
  • Initiate and lead process improvements, failure investigations, and corrective activities within assigned areas.
  • Draft and edit processes and procedures as needed, following documented processes and procedures.
  • Supports manufacturing design, testing, and product change activities, while assisting with the development, validation, and transfer of new products and technologies.
  • Support the purchase and validation of manufacturing equipment. Develop project justification and capital project proposals.
  • Exhibit role model behavior.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Attributes:
  • Capable of bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, and pulling low-to-moderate weights as required by production demands.
  • Possesses standard visual and auditory acuity necessary to safely navigate and communicate within an operational environment.
  • Occasional use of ladders and steps.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment including phone and PC.
  • Consistent and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Comfortable and capable of working safely within a laboratory setting that requires the handling and navigation of industrial chemicals.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other Life Sciences fields OR Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other Engineering fields OR Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or other Business fields

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite with strong written, oral, and presentation skills, and the proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively in both team-oriented and independent work environments.
  • Effective scientific problem-solving skills.

RSREMD

Pay Range for this position: $85,700.00 - $149,400.00.

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
