About the role: This on-site Production Supervisor role is responsible for leading and developing a manufacturing team while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production operations. The position oversees employee performance, training, workflow scheduling, equipment efficiency, inventory accuracy, and key operational metrics, while fostering a positive and accountable work environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives, maintain compliance with safety and quality standards, and collaborate effectively across departments to achieve productivity, delivery, and customer satisfaction goals.
The pay range for this role is $80,000 to $97,000 depending on experience and qualifications.Job Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required, with 5-7 years of manufacturing experience and a minimum of 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Proven success leading manufacturing teams, including hiring, coaching, training, performance management, and employee development.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, with demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement initiatives that improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Ability to read and interpret safety procedures, technical drawings, specifications, production documents, and operating instructions, with strong mathematical and analytical skills to support decision-making.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn and utilize manufacturing software and business systems effectively.
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate teams, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively across departments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
