Full Job Description
This role will be based at our new Siemens Energy Transformers Manufacturing Center Factory in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. The facility is planned to be built by late 2026 for production commencement.

A Snapshot of Your Day

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead process operations in the production of Large Power Transformers. This role is critical in ensuring safety, quality, cost efficiency, and adherence to planning processes throughout the final execution. The ideal candidate will drive a high-performance team culture in collaboration with technicians across various areas.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Define strategies, tactics, and methods to create a high-performance team culture while ensuring adherence to manufacturing guidelines, processes, and procedures.
  • Oversee production activities and contribute to the production planning process, determining priorities based on established EHS requirements, quality standards, and weekly production schedules.
  • Schedule and promote active participation of technicians in EHS evaluations and Quality Gates (QGs).
  • Track KPIs and assess the progress of agreed tasks and workflows to ensure timely completion, defining mitigation plans for any deviations.
  • Conduct 1st Level Meetings with technicians to address and resolve any deviations during the manufacturing process.
  • Create and implement development plans for all technicians under your supervision, enhancing their performance in the manufacturing process.
  • Lead and support the fulfillment of all protocols, policies, guidelines, and competencies from current systems (EHS, QA, CyberSec, etc.).
  • Must be able to work in the US without the need for VISA sponsorship.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred, or equivalent related experience in the energy industry; High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in a manufacturing supervisory role, preferably in the energy industry, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety standards.
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally (in one-to-three-month increments) for training with technicians.
  • Preferred experience leading the manufacturing processes of building power transformers (greater than 30 MVA and 75.5 kV), ensuring adherence to quality standards and operational efficiency.
  • Ability to coordinate production schedules, manage logistics, and optimize resource allocation to meet project timelines and customer demands.
