Position Summary

This is a hands on, in the plant, Monday through Friday, Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineering position. Remote work is not available and this person must live within a commutable distance to our beautiful Williamsburg, KY community or they will be required to relocate. Full relocation assistance is being offered. VISA sponsorship is not being offered for this role.

Manufacturing Quality Assurance work includes:
• Defining and specifying activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for a manufactured material, component, or product
• Building and maintaining the infrastructure and systems necessary to consistently ensure the timely delivery of quality products
• Auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards
• Reporting and troubleshooting manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods

Responsibilities
• Leads projects or processes of diverse scope, while working independently with limited supervision
• Coaches and reviews the work of lower level professionals
• Supports continuous improvement/automation activities
• Uses advanced analytical/technical problem solving to develop new solutions to existing problems/procedures
• Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong manufacturing quality engineering experience desired
  • Strong statistical analytical skills (Mintab and related tools)
  • Strong GD&T experience
  • Well developed customer service and communication skills
  • Six Sigma certification is a plus! (Black Belt, Green Belt)


Minimum Qualifications

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience
