- Guide technical operations in a GMP-regulated environment
- Serve as the technical owner for customer programs in manufacturing
- Oversee process execution and standardize methodologies
- Collaborate across functions to optimize processes, implement improvements, and ensure efficient operations
- Review critical documentation
- Support team of scientists and engineers and manage timelines
- Provide technical expertise for manufacturing operations
- Maintain productive partnerships with stakeholders to deliver exceptional results for our customers
Minimum Requirements:Education- Minimum Required Education: Bachelor degree (Preferred Fields of Study: Engineering, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related discipline)
- Advanced degree preferred
Experience- 5 years of experience in GMP-regulated environment required
- Prior people leadership or management experience required.
- Experience with process validation, technology transfer, and scale-up activities
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or PPI)
- Experience in developing and supporting technical staff
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities- Advanced knowledge of bioprocessing techniques including cell culture, harvest, chromatography, ultrafiltration, and depth filtration
- Strong understanding of cGMP requirements and US/EU regulatory standards
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and complex projects
- Proficiency in technical writing and documentation (batch records, validation protocols, technical reports)
- Strong problem-solving skills for deviations and implementation of corrective actions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant manufacturing systems
- Ability to work in manufacturing areas wearing appropriate PPE
- Knowledge of risk assessment and root cause analysis techniques
- Ability to support manufacturing operations as needed
