Schneider Electric is seeking a Manufacturing Readiness Manager to lead the deployment of new manufacturing capacity across North America in support of our growing Modular Data Center business. Reporting to the Director, NAM Industrial Deployment, this role serves as the key operational leader responsible for transforming approved investments into fully operational manufacturing capability.
The successful candidate will lead complex greenfield and brownfield expansion projects, ensuring facilities, equipment, systems, supply chains, and operational readiness activities are aligned and delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
What will you do?Program & Deployment Leadership- Lead end-to-end deployment programs from design through facility launch and production ramp-up.
- Develop and execute integrated deployment plans across construction, manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and operations.
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and key milestones.
- Drive launch readiness reviews and ensure successful site go-live execution.
- Establish and maintain governance, change management, and performance tracking processes.
Construction & Operational Readiness- Coordinate facility design, construction, commissioning, and industrialization activities.
- Partner with site leadership and cross-functional teams to validate capacity, safety, quality, and operational readiness requirements.
- Identify and resolve readiness gaps that could impact launch success.
- Support production ramp-up activities following deployment.
Risk & Supply Chain Management- Lead risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution throughout deployment.
- Develop contingency plans to support uninterrupted project execution.
- Partner with sourcing and supply chain teams to mitigate launch and capacity risks.
- Support make-versus-buy evaluations and deployment feasibility assessments.
Stakeholder & Financial Management- Influence and lead matrixed teams across operations, engineering, quality, finance, procurement, construction, and external partners.
- Manage capital investment budgets and provide regular progress updates to senior leadership.
- Drive alignment, accountability, and decision-making across multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications- Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or Operations Management.
- PMP, PgMP, Lean Six Sigma, or related certification.
- Experience working with EPC contractors, commissioning teams, and industrial construction projects.
- Knowledge of manufacturing capacity planning, supply chain risk mitigation, and factory ramp-up strategies.
- Experience in data centers, electrical equipment, industrial products, or advanced manufacturing environments.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 142,400 - USD 213,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
