Full Job Description
Schneider Electric is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Quality Engineer - QMS to support operations in Mt. Juliet, TN location. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with quality standards through rigorous audit execution, strengthening quality management systems, and advancing continuous improvement initiatives. The position is well-suited for a professional experienced in audit-driven environments who can enhance process reliability and drive measurable quality outcomes.

Travel is expected up to 20%.

  • Lead and support Quality Management System audits, including International Organization for Standardization audits, internal audits, and Schneider Electric Production System audits, ensuring compliance and timely resolution of findings.
  • Implement and sustain continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean and Six Sigma, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including Process Failure Mode Effects Analyses and Control Plans.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, identifying trends and driving corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as workplace organization and standardization efforts.
  • Ensure timely closure of audit findings and completion of follow-up actions.
  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System.
  • Contribute to digital quality initiatives within the manufacturing site.
  • Prepare and maintain quality documentation and reports, including Pareto analysis and structured problem-solving reports.
  • Drive improvements in customer satisfaction through adherence to quality standards and continuous enhancement efforts.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
  • Proven experience in quality and manufacturing engineering with a strong emphasis on Quality Management System audits.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of audit processes, including International Organization for Standardization standards, internal audits, and supplier audits.
  • Experience with quality tools and methodologies such as Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis, Control Plans, process auditing, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Proficiency in Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage audit-related activities effectively.
  • Mechanical aptitude is highly preferred.
