Full Job Description
Position Purpose
Develop new and improved processes for the manufacture of existing products and assist in the transfer of products and associated manufacturing processes.

Major Accountabilities/Expectations
Develop and design processes in existing operations to attain quality, cost, and production enhancements.
Effectively and efficiently assist/lead efforts in process design. Coordinate detailed design activities on the enhancement of equipment and processes including technical support for Continuous Improvement objectives.
Execute validation of equipment and fixtures.
Perform detailed analyses of problems and define and execute plans to implement change. Trouble shoot operations to identify root causes of production problems.
Take responsibility for execution and tracking of assigned projects from a technical and financial perspective.
Support engineering staff with the specification, installation, validation of capital equipment projects.
Assist in training personnel in specialized skills required to achieve success in the area.
Solid verbal and written communications skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team in a highly regulated and procedurally controlled environment.
Skills:Proficiency with Microsoft Office, solid mechanical troubleshooting skills
Education:Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical field.
5 years minimum experience in medical device, pharmaceutical or precision manufacturing in a technical or engineering role.
