Full Job Description
What Will You Do?
• Develop & document new tooling and processes that promote safe working practices and meet businessrequirements.
• Create/Update BoMs, Engineering Drawings, Work Instructions & other engineering-related documentation asrequired.
• Re-Engineer existing processes using Lean principles to eliminate waste and reduce lead times.
• Use data to resolve complicated process problems, systematically, via root cause analysis and theimplementation of effective solutions.
• Assist in the implementation of capital investment and continuous improvement projects that provide customervalue.
• Participate in cross functional groups to implement new products and processes.

Minimum Requirements:
• BS in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3 years of experience engineering the machining & assembly of mechanical products in a manufacturingenvironment.
• A strong mechanical aptitude. A 'hands-on' person with a passion for process improvement.
• Working knowledge of 3D modeling software required,
• Experience working with ERP software; I.e., setting up Bills of Material and Routes/Methods.
• The candidate should possess strong organizational and communication skills.
• A positive 'Safety First' attitude with the ability to interact effectively and partner with people at all levels;extremely skilled at developing and working with and through teams; a collaborative hands-on team player, resultsdriven and motivated

Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies; Lean/Six-Sigma certification preferred.
• SolidWorks proficiency.
• Proficient with various inspection techniques (automated & manual), tooling, and methodologies.
• 5+ years of experience in the manufacturing & assembly of mechanical products.
• The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in the optimization of machining & assembly processes.
