Are you a finance professional who enjoys partnering with operations, uncovering insights through data, and driving business performance? We are seeking a Managerial Accountant to serve as the financial business partner for our Willoughby manufacturing facility while supporting operational finance initiatives across North America.

This is more than a traditional accounting role. You'll work directly with plant leadership to analyze manufacturing performance, optimize product costing, support strategic decision-making, and identify opportunities that improve profitability and operational efficiency. What You'll DoPartner with Manufacturing Leadership
  • Serve as the financial representative on the Willoughby Plant Management Team
  • Partner with Operations and Supply Chain leaders to improve manufacturing performance and profitability
  • Provide financial insight that supports strategic and operational decision-making
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects
Drive Financial Analysis & Reporting
  • Prepare, analyze, and present monthly financial reports for the Willoughby facility and other North American operations as needed
  • Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory performance, operational efficiency, and key business metrics
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities while recommending actionable solutions
  • Support leadership with meaningful financial reporting and performance analysis
Lead Cost Accounting & Product Costing
  • Maintain accurate product costing and perform detailed cost analyses
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify cost drivers and operational improvement opportunities
  • Analyze manufacturing margins, material yields, inventory valuation, and production performance
  • Support pricing, profitability, and investment decisions through accurate financial analysis
Support Planning & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead the annual operating budget and planning process for the Willoughby facility
  • Support month-end close, financial audits, capital project tracking, and other operational finance activities
  • Perform special financial analyses and projects that support operational excellence
  • Help strengthen internal controls and improve financial processes
Strengthen Systems & Business Processes
  • Develop expertise in the company's ERP system (Movex/M3) and manufacturing processes
  • Maintain the integrity of financial and operational data
  • Partner with Operations to improve reporting accuracy and business processes
  • Drive process improvements that enhance efficiency, reporting, and decision-making

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • 4–8 years of progressive experience in cost accounting and general accounting within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and product costing
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations, supply chain, or plant finance
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build relationships with shop floor employees, supervisors, managers, and executive leadership
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in process manufacturing
  • Experience with Movex (M3) or similar ERP systems
  • Knowledge of inventory management, manufacturing KPIs, and operational finance
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives

The salary range for this position is $82,600.00 - $103,600.00 USD Annual. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
