Job PurposeThis position is responsible for improving manufacturing efficiency, cost, product quality, and worker safety by analyzing current methods, new methods, new technologies and cost reduction activities in selected areas. This position is 100% on site at our New Holland, PA manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities- Develops, designs, and plans equipment and machine layEvaluatouts, workflow, and safety precautions to maximize utilization of plant and manufacturing facilities.
- Evaluates worker productivity and recommends improvements to increase manpower efficiency and operating performance, reduce waste and delays, and promote cost control/reductions.
- Develops metrics to measure plant and equipment capacity output, and identify equipment and process flow bottlenecks.
- Establishes accident prevention measures, and plans and schedules training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operation and ensures compliance with established industry safety and design standards and guidelines.
- Determines facility specifications, including analysis and evaluation of location, material resources, and structual design.
- Resolves technical problems and recommends production improvement.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Experience Required- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years engineering experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience to include delegation of work assignments and employee development initiatives
Pay TransparencyThe annual salary for this role is USD $137,475.00 - $183,300.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
