Job Description

As our newOperations & Strategy Specialist Manufacturing Plant, you will be coordinating strategic initiatives, tracking business objectives, and enabling plant leadership to drive operational excellence - serving as the connective thread between strategy, communications, and day-to-day execution across the facility. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture, that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging. This position is located on-site 5 days in our plant Brookshire, Texas.

What you will be doing

As a key part of the Regional Manufacturing Operations team, you'll create impact by driving alignment between plant-level goals and regional business objectives while leveraging AI and digital tools to elevate leadership effectiveness and operational performance.

Your main responsibilities include:
  • Coordinate the plant's strategic deployment process, tracking KPIs, action plans, and milestone progress while maintaining executive dashboards and performance reports
  • Support the Regional Operations Director and Plant Leadership Team with high-priority projects, meeting preparation, and cross-functional follow-up on key decisions
  • Lead planning and execution of customer, executive, government, and community visits, representing the facility to external stakeholders
  • Develop internal communications and visual storytelling that highlight plant successes, safety milestones, and continuous improvement achievements
  • Create executive-level PowerPoint presentations and leverage AI tools such as Copilot to automate reporting and improve productivity
  • Support GPS, Lean, and Continuous Improvement initiatives while ensuring alignment with EHS compliance and sustainability goals

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a strategic thinker with strong project management skills, executive presence, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion - equally comfortable building a compelling presentation, facilitating a leadership review, or identifying AI-driven workflow improvements. We would also imagine that you have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Strategy, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, continuous improvement, or business strategy
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and coordinating with senior leadership
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and AI tools such as Copilot

It is a plus if you also:
  • Experience with Lean, GPS, or other operational excellence frameworks in a manufacturing setting
  • Background in internal communications, employer branding, or stakeholder engagement
  • Familiarity with automated reporting solutions and digital enablement tools

Why you will love working here

  • A working environment built around your needs, with flexible hours, home working opportunities and parental support.
  • Annual bonuses, health insurance and a strong focus on well-being activities.
  • Three days' additional paid leave for volunteering in your community.
  • Access to on-demand training and learning sessions and carefully structured programs to pursue personal and professional development opportunities.
