Job Summary

The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Production Department. This includes training, quality control, and ensuring the team meets production metrics. You will be responsible for providing leadership guidance on establishing a productive, high performing, and safety conscious working team environment. The role will manage and coordinates all production activities, operations, and staffing to ensure conformance to established procedures; implements practices that maximize production efforts to improve the overall effectiveness and financial performance of the production department

Job Requirements/Expectations:
• Reviews, analyzes, modifies, and implements efficient and effective department processes, policies, and procedures.
• Interfaces with Managers and Team Leads to ensure highest degree of final quality and actively develop new and better-quality methods.
• Assigns duties and monitors quality of work; assures staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures.
• Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance.
• Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.
• Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Ensures approved manufacturing methodology is being followed.
• Hires, trains, supervises, motivates, and develops production staff; oversees schedules and workflow.
• Develops and communicates goals and key initiatives to improve department performance and success.
• Develops, monitors, and provides access to daily production requirements.
• Maintains knowledge of the labor force to manage fluctuations in product demand.
• Maintains knowledge of capacity and develops solutions for efficient utilization.
• Ensures all safety rules and regulations are followed; investigates accidents in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.
• Implements, and monitors department budget; manages expenses within approved budget constraints.
• Work with CFO to control operating costs.

Qualifications:
