Manufacturing Manager - Fabrication
Position Responsibilities:- Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines. (Fabrication/Manufacturing environment)
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
- Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership."
- High School diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing
- 3+ years of experience with process improvement and lean manufacturing
- Experience working with collective bargaining agreements and/or a union represented workforce
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):- Bachelor's Degree or higher, or equivalent work or military experience
- Experience with special processes including heat treatment of metals, welding and chemical processes
- Experience in a leadership role driving organizational and operational change management
- Experience achieving planned business goals and objectives and improvement activities utilizing Boeing Production System (BPS) or Lean Manufacturing principles and processes
