Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a
First-Line Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to support
2nd Shift 737 Wings WSI in
Renton, Washington.Position Responsibilities:- Manages IAM represented employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
- Acquires resources, provides technical management, leads process improvements and problem solving activities
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):- This manager position requires you to have a minimum of one year of leadership experience (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership
- 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of experience applying continuous improvement tools and techniques
- Proficient using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Must be willing to work any shifts
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):- 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
- 1+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data
- 3+ years in Manufacturing/Aerospace Management
- 1+ years of experience using Boeing Production System (BPS)
- Commitment to Go for Zero and Incident Injury Free (IIF) principles
Shift:This role is primarily 2nd shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.
COI:Successful candidate for this job must satisfy the company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
