AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)- Provide technical interpretation of design documents.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment.
- Provide direction and regular contact to consultants, vendors and contractors assigned to the project.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all parties.
- Prepare weekly project reports detailing project progress.
- Review and compare discipline drawings for inconsistencies, omitted information, and conflicts, etc.
- Interface between craft and engineering to resolve drawing issues.
- Interact with disciplines: subcontracts, material management, project controls and automation tools.
- Coordinate system completion and turnover, requisition project materials, equipment and services and prepare quality control forms and coordinate inspections.
