Job DescriptionYou will be the Manufacturing Engineer Senior for the PrSM Pod program team. Our team is responsible for designing and improving manufacturing processes to make production more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective, and providing engineering support to the production floor.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Manufacturing Engineer Senior you will be responsible for driving process excellence and supporting production operations.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Design and improve manufacturing processes for reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Create statements of work for tooling and develop detailed work instructions.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
- Provide engineering support to the production floor and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate on tool design, fabrication, and implementation.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/combined education
-Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and detailed specifications
-Ability to create statement of work for tooling based on requirements
-Ability to work independently with limited oversight
-Ability to create and maintain work instructions
-Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail to create high-quality work products
Desired skills-Experience setting up a production line
-Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (ASME/ANSI Y14.5)
-Proficient with MS Office software suite
-Proficiency or experience with AutoCAD, PTC Creo, or Solid Works 3D CAD software
-Knowledgeable of hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in a manufacturing environment
-Knowledgeable of tool design, fabrication, and implementation
-Knowledgeable of engineering materials
Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $81,600 - $143,865. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
