Job Description
You will be a Senior Manufacturing Engineer on Third Shift for our PAC-3 program. Our team is responsible for designing and improving manufacturing processes to make production more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective, and providing engineering support to the production floor.
What You Will Be Doing
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Development of tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications and culminating in complete technical data packages fully defining the tooling / equipment and allowing fabrication of detailed components and assembly of the end item.
• Design / documentation efforts to be accomplished IAW company standards utilizing Creo / Solid Works.
• Provide engineering support to the production floor for issues that may surface in normal day to day integration processes by analyzing and using problem solving skills in a team environment in accordance with production rate requirements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues.
• Developing and implementing new manufacturing processes and systems.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance, therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
• The ability to translate technical drawings and specifications into practical manufacturing instructions is essential.
• Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Knowledgeable of machine / tool mechanical design.
• Knowledgeable of general manufacturing / integration processes.
• Competent with mechanical manufacturing and mechanical assembly.
• Competent with bill of materials (BoMs) and Indentured Parts Lists (IPL).
• Ability to work Third Shift
Desired skills
• Proficient with MS Office suite.
• Proficiency or experience with AutoCAD, CREO, or SolidWorks.
• Knowledgeable of hydraulic and pneumatic systems/equipment used in a Manufacturing Environment.
• Knowledgeable of engineering materials.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including team building, collaboration, and developing enduring business relationships throughout all levels of the organization.
• Ability to identify and solve complex issues.
• Troubleshooting production issues using failure mode effects and analysis (FMEA), root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions (RC/CA).
• Previous missile or rocket assembly experience.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $81,600 - $143,865. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $93,800 - $162,610. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
