This role offers the opportunity to help establish new production lines, purchase and install equipment, support pilot production runs, and contribute to the successful launch of manufacturing operations.
This position is part of a plant ramp-up initiative and will play a key role in establishing processes, supporting operational growth, and driving successful production scale-up from day one.What will you do?- Support the startup and ramp-up of a new Engineer-to-Order manufacturing facility and production lines.
- Provide expertise in manufacturing and production processes, including process design, ergonomics, capacity planning, simulation tools, capital investments, and cost analysis.
- Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and operational performance.
- Participate in and support Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis activities to ensure robust manufacturing processes and consistent product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product development, including manufacturability and feasibility assessments.
- Evaluate and recommend capital investments based on operational needs, feasibility, and expected return on investment.
- Maintain and update Enterprise Resource Planning system data, including materials, bills of materials, and manufacturing routings, when engineering changes occur.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies to improve operational performance. This may include:
- Value Stream Mapping
- Line Architecture Design Methodology
- Material Providing and Handling
- Six Sigma Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control methodology
- Failure Mode and Effects Analysis
- Kaizen events
- Monitor production performance metrics and implement actions to improve efficiency, capacity, and overall manufacturing effectiveness.
- Identify and implement ergonomic and safety improvements that help create a safer work environment for employees.
- Conduct time studies and motion studies to improve workflow, labor efficiency, and process design.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field is required.
- Three or more years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or technical role supporting plant operations and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience supporting manufacturing processes, process improvement, or production operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience using data analysis and visualization tools such as Structured Query Language, Tableau, or similar applications.
- Experience with computer-aided design software such as AutoCAD.
- Strong digital mindset with an interest in leveraging technology, data, and automation to improve manufacturing performance.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities may evolve as operations grow.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 86,400 - USD 129,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
