Manufacturing Engineer - PCBA, you will act as the primary technical leader for our products, serving as the main interface between Plexus's internal Customer Focus Teams (CFTs)-which include Test, Quality, and Process Engineering-and the customer. You will transition your expertise in circuit design, schematics, and system architecture to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing excellence (

Core Responsibilities- Manufacturing Readiness & DfX: Apply your electrical background to identify manufacturing routes, and optimize process flows to ensure a robust and cost-effective PCBA output.
- System-Level Technical Interface: Act as the internal and external lead for technical communication. You will translate complex product requirements (e.g., schematics, BOMs, and customer specifications) into actionable instructions for the production floor.
- Technical Problem Solving: Lead root cause analysis (CAR/PAR) when issues arise on the floor. Your ability to read and interpret complex designs is vital for debugging PCBA issues, identifying failure modes, and implementing corrective actions.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively drive efficiency. Use your engineering mindset to identify opportunities to improve yields, reduce scrap, and optimize manufacturing cycle times.
Education/Experience Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree with 2 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
