Main Tasks
The Manufacturing Engineer - Metal stampings is responsible for optimizing stamping processes, tooling design, and production performance in high-speed press environments. Ensures all stamped components meet specifications, quality standards, and cost targets through robust process design and tooling modifications. Key responsibilities:
Develop and optimize stamping processes for high-speed press.
Troubleshoot stamping operations, including press performance and die issues
Design and modify stamping dies to ensure compliance with all product characteristics
Collaborate with toolmakers on die repair, maintenance and improvements
Lead die tryouts, debug activities, and production ramp-up
Ensure product quality meets engineering drawings and customer specifications
Support PPAP and resolve non-conformances using root cause analysis
Drive continuous improvement in scrap reduction, uptime, and productivity
Partner cross-functionally on new product introduction and process stability
Required qualifications
