As the Manufacturing Engineer you will drive safety, quality, on-time delivery, cost reduction, and continuous improvement within an assigned area. This role applies Lean Manufacturing principles and supports production through hands-on problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.
Specific Responsibilities
- Implement and sustain Lean/continuous improvement principles in the department
- Participate in productivity and cost-reduction efforts to improve process and lower cost
- Develop safe, ergonomic processes; work with supervision and maintenance to correct unsafe conditions
- Analyze operations and equipment utilization to maximize quality and output
- Support production builds, working closely with Production Supervisors, Materials, and Design Engineers to resolve issues
- Coordinate new product introductions — partnering with Design Engineering and the production floor, establishing shop routes, and evaluating capacity needs
- Provide technical support and monitor critical processes
- Provide backup support for department foreman or scheduler as needed
- Support ISO9001 compliance efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field
- Solid internship or co-op experience
Preferences
- 1+ year of experience as a manufacturing engineer in a production or assembly environment
- Exposure to CNC machining or machine shop environments a plus

The Salary range for this position is $76,050.00-$96,050.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate27s experience, their education, and the work location.
