As a Manufacturing Engineer III at Jabil, you will play a vital role in advancing our manufacturing operations in screw production. Your responsibilities encompass leadership, process development, tool design, machine programming, machinery & equipment acquisition, manufacturing layout, continuous improvement, and various engineering support functions for production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead technical projects within manufacturing site or suppliers to improve process capacity, capability, yield and maintainability.
- Provide technical support for the approval/ validation of changes/ improvements within manufacturing site or supplier processes
- Provide technical support for the resolution of component quality issues
- Sustain supply chain continuity by qualifying and validating site and/or supplier tooling as per component approval procedures.
- Ensures closure to component non-conformance issues with timely corrective action submission and approval of site and/or suppliers control plans.
- Will have responsibility for multiple components or mfg. processes of moderate complexity on the development/revision of a product.
- May be responsible for direction and development of technical support staff. Plans, conducts and directs engineering projects or studies including complete projects requiring advanced knowledge of a specialized field. Applies comprehensive and diverse knowledge of engineering principles and practices within broad assignment areas.
- May coordinate and direct activities of technical support staff and may be responsible for, technical development of assigned staff

- Be a creative and proactive contributor on the engineering team, focused on continuous improvement at all times.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS and KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited institution in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or comparable education/experience.
- 4-8 years of experience in manufacturing and/or engineering.
- Previous experience in a regulated industry, such as Medical Devices, is preferred.
- Six Sigma or Lean Sigma certification or 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Proficient in written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Minitab, and databases.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a results-oriented approach.
- Effective interpersonal skills and professionalism in interactions with colleagues.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.

The pay range for this role is $79,400 - $142,900. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: August 31, 2026.
