Job OverviewThe
Manufacturing Engineer II is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through the development, implementation, and improvement of manufacturing processes. This role focuses on process efficiency, quality improvement, and day-to-day production support while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Please note: This position may involve working with technical data, technology, software/source code, hardware, or other items (collectively "items) subject to U.S. and non-U.S. export control laws and regulations. Job Requirements- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes, workflows, and layouts.
- Provide engineering support to manufacturing operations and resolve production issues.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve process and product issues.
- Support new product introductions, including process development, tooling, and documentation.
- Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Support capital equipment projects, including justification, selection, and implementation.
What your background should look like- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering is strongly preferred or equivalent work experience will be considered.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience supporting production operations and resolving process issues.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Six Sigma or other continuous improvement certification.
- Experience supporting automation or advanced manufacturing equipment.

COMPENSATION• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $84,300-$105,300 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
