Summary:
Provides technical manufacturing liaison required for the production of high quality products from the design phase through all phases of production. Liaison between the Program Design, Procurement, Assembly, and Quality Departments to promote an efficient and well-organized manufacturing operation. This role will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the facility ESD Control Program and ensuring compliance with ANSI/ESD S20.20-2021, customer requirements, and applicable quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage the site ESD Control Program in accordance with ANSI/ESD S20.20- requirements.
• Perform scheduled ESD compliance verification testing and maintain compliance records.
• Qualify and approve new ESD control products, materials, packaging, tools, and equipment prior to production use.
• Conduct resistance measurements, charge generation testing, ionization verification, and other compliance evaluations.
• Support customer, registrar, certification body, and third-party audits involving ESD program compliance.
• Serve as the site ESD subject matter expert during customer and certification audits.
• Coordinate responses to audit findings and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver ESD training programs for employees.
• Investigate ESD-related issues and support root cause analysis activities.
• Maintain ESD asset inventories, qualification reports, audit records, and training records.
• Support implementation and maintenance of Equipment Identification (ID) Sheets for ESD control equipment, workstations, and compliance verification assets.
• Develop, maintain, and standardize Supplier Part Number (P/N) Templates and supporting documentation for ESD control materials and products.
• Coordinate equipment labeling and identification systems to ensure traceability and asset control. Support implementation of standardized documentation practices to improve audit readiness and compliance tracking.

• Attends design reviews and provides product evaluations to insure the product design lends itself to practical, economical manufacturing techniques.
• Assists in reviewing engineering design drawings prior to "Production Release" for product and compatibility with "state-of-the-art" manufacturing techniques.
• Assists in make/buy evaluations and makes recommendations on "IN-HOUSE" VS. "OUTSIDE VENDOR" manufacturing capabilities.
• Assists in vendor surveys.
• Evaluates the requirements for assembly tooling, fixtures, and equipment required to support the manufacturing operations.
• Participates in Material Review Board (MRB) activities and takes an active role in the dispositioning of discrepant material and/or assemblies.
• Participates in the Change Control Board (CCB) review of engineering change orders to insure proposed design changes are producible and within manufacturing capabilities
• Assists in the monitoring of daily production activities and makes recommendations on material and/or labor reductions to promote efficiency of operation.
• Coordinates with the Methods and Tooling groups and provides the technical product or specification drawing interpretations required for the design and fabrication of assembly tools, fixtures, and process methods instructions.
• Provides manufacturing assembly flow charts required to support the product flow and/or assembly sequence.
• Provides manufacturing assembly floor and equipment layouts required to promote an efficient flow of product through the various assembly states.
• Conducts any special manufacturing projects, evaluations or surveys as directed by management.
• Actively participate in Lean projects and activities including 5S, TPM, VSM, etc.

Other information:

• Minimum three years of experience in electronics manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, quality, or ESD program management.
• Working knowledge of ANSI/ESD S20.20-2021 requirements and ESD Association standards.

• 0-2 years manufacturing engineering experience in a precision machine shop environment
• Supports a 24/7 global business operation as required
• Basic Lean Sigma concepts, methodologies and tools
• Able to travel as required

Compensation Range: $71,678.00 to $89,597.00 USD. Many factors are considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills, certifications, licensures, experience, training, incumbent data, and other business needs.
