Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve product and tooling issues
  • Analyze and create manufacturing cells adhering to Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Develop technical procedures for manufacturing processes specific to HydraForce
  • Diagnose and address production failures effectively
  • Identify root causes of production issues and implement solutions
  • Collect production data and compile technical reports
  • Assist in the introduction of new products through the APQP process
  • Enforce compliance with safety policies and procedures in manufacturing
  • Stay updated on new manufacturing technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

Job Description
  • Work closely with Production cells to prevent and resolve problems with products and/or tooling/fixtures/machinery
  • Analyze and design manufacturing cells that conform to Lean Manufacturing standards
  • Develop technical procedures for HydraForce manufacturing processes
  • Troubleshoot and isolate production failures
  • Determine and eliminate root causes and diminish occurrences in the manufacturing process
  • Collect data and develop technical reports based on production
  • Support all current and new product introduction through the APQP process
  • Ensure all manufacturing safety policies and procedures are implemented and maintained at all times
  • Stay informed concerning new manufacturing technologies and equipment in order to manufacture and reduce cost through quality and efficiencies
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Mechanical Engineering preferred or experience in lieu
  • Previous manufacturing experience a plus, not required
  • Experience in tool design and modifications, 3D Modeling a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Hands-on, team oriented and committed to business improvement processes
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Process-oriented mentality
  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodology

Additional Information

The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $86,000 annually.
