A Snapshot of Your Day

Join us in developing, optimizing, and sustaining ceramic core manufacturing processes, including material removal, repair, strengthening, and inspection. This role supports manufacturing through process definition, engineering trials, data analysis, SPC, and training, while resolving recurring quality and process issues through root cause analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Improve ceramic material removal, repair, strengthening and inspection processes
  • Create and maintain clear standard operating procedures for manufacturing staff
  • Identify and resolve the root causes of quality and process issues
  • Apply statistical process control to detect and prevent nonconformances
  • Test and evaluate new materials, tools, and equipment
  • Train manufacturing personnel on documented process changes
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to implement improvements
  • Conduct engineering trials to determine optimal process methods
What You Bring
  • BS in Engineering, or 5 or more years of manufacturing and/or maintenance experience in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing and/or maintenance experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills
  • Practical knowledge in statistical process control, variation control, and data analysis
  • Experience writing work instructions and training manufacturing personnel
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute controlled experiments to evaluate process variables and determine statistical significance
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and meet specific vision requirements.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
  • This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
