Job Summary:We are currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer and CNC Programmer to join our team. You will be responsible for programming, tooling, 1st piece and process improvement.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:- CNC programing turning or milling to ensure all requirements and dimensions of customer drawings met
- Create setup sheets, tool sheets and control documentation for aerospace parts
- Required to create drawings for projects and products being made
- Design specialized tooling, fixtures, jigs or other devices to assist with manufactured products
- Manage projects from programming into production and provide necessary support to machinists
- Carry out problem solving and process improvements including cost reductions
- Create methods and job travelers
Requirements and Qualifications:- 5+ years experience in a job shop environment
- Knowledge of Mastercam, Solidworks preferred
- Understanding of aerospace materials
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints and customer design specification sheets
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to communicate effectively and efficiently with all levels of the organization and customers
