Salary Range: $89,000.00 to $110,000.00

The anticipated salary range represents the estimated base pay for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors, and may vary from the posted range

The Role

The candidate will be responsible for exploring methods of using advanced manufacturing technology to improve cost and span of future submarine programs. This role will require good communication skills, research and development and the ability to apply advanced manufacturing methodology to shipyard problems.

In this postion, the candidate will explore ways to reduced cost and span of submarine manufacturing through the use of advanced manufacturing tools and technologies.

Must Have

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant exempt experience;
Master's Degree and 0 year of relevant professional experience

Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.

Nice to Have
