Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager of Cardiac Imaging Services to oversee all nuclear medicine procedures, echocardiology operations, and serve as the system administrator for the cardiac PACS. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient and compliant operation of cardiac imaging services while leading a skilled team.
Responsibilities- Supervise all nuclear medicine procedures and echocardiology services.
- Act as the system administrator for the cardiac Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
- Coordinate and manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to cardiac imaging services.
Qualifications- Minimum of an Associate Degree required.
- Completion of an approved program in Nuclear Medicine or certification in Nuclear Medicine required.
- Minimum of two years experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
- Minimum of one year supervisory experience required.
- Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB).
- CPR certification required within one year of hire date.
Skills- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- In-depth knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and echocardiology.
- Experience managing and administering cardiac PACS systems.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
