Full Job Description
The Opportunity:

As part of Hamilton Lane's Global Client Solutions Team, the Real Assets/Infrastructure Product Manager / Platform Specialist is responsible for the overall management and execution of all aspects of one or more investment products and platforms, including fundraising support, product strategy, and ongoing investor relations across global markets.

In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert and primary point of contact across closed end and evergreen solutions partnering with our institutional and private wealth client solutions teams as well as working closely with Investment Teams within Infrastructure / Real Assets, Marketing, Legal, Operations, and other internal partners to drive product growth and deliver a superior investor experience. The successful candidate is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and often evolving environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Platform and Product Leadership
  • Serve as primary product/platform representative (closed end and evergreen products) for internal and external stakeholders, acting as the conduit between the investment team and client-facing teams.
  • Lead the day-to-day management of assigned products through the full product lifecycle, from fundraising and launch through investment period and maturity.
  • Develop and refine platform positioning, key messaging, and commercial narratives that clearly articulate the strategy, track record, and competitive differentiation of the platform.


Fundraising and Investor Relations
  • Oversee and coordinate fundraising efforts across assigned products (closed end and evergreen), partnering with Global Client Solutions to plan campaigns, track pipeline, and support targeted prospect coverage.
  • Lead or support investor/prospects meetings and calls, including preparation and delivery of materials covering portfolio analytics, case studies, performance, pipeline, and market developments.
  • Drive ongoing investor communication, including recurring and ad hoc updates, investor letters, reporting commentary, FAQs, and responses to complex inquiries.


Product Marketing and Content Ownership
  • Own or co-own marketing collateral for assigned platforms (e.g., pitchbooks, factsheets, platform decks, RFP language, due diligence materials) and ensure content is accurate, consistent, and up to date across channels.
  • Partner with Marketing and Product Development to execute go-to-market plans for new funds or product enhancements, including messaging documents, thought leadership, presentations, web content, and sales enablement tools.
  • Maintain platform-specific standard responses and data points to support efficient completion of RFPs, DDQs, and recurring questionnaires.


Product Operations and Technical Expertise
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the structural, operational, and legal aspects of assigned products, including fund terms, cash flows, reporting requirements, and operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Accounting, Legal, and Compliance to support product onboarding, ongoing governance, documentation, and process enhancements.
  • Monitor platform health and KPIs, providing data-driven insights on fundraising progress, investor mix, product capacity, and other commercial metrics to senior leadership.


Cross-Functional Collaboration and Strategy
  • Partner with Product Development and Investment leadership to evaluate new product ideas, feeder vehicles, and extensions that align with investor demand and firm strategy.
  • Provide market and competitive intelligence on the platform's opportunity set, peer offerings, investor feedback, and structural trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Communicate regularly with global sales, client teams, and internal stakeholders on key platform updates, helping to align messaging and priorities across regions and channels.


Leadership and Team Development
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight to junior product team members supporting the platform, delegating tasks, reviewing deliverables, and contributing to training and development.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex client requests or nuanced product questions, collaborating with senior stakeholders as needed.


Your background will include:

Must-Haves
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.S. or B.B.A.) or equivalent work experience; advanced degree (MBA and/or CFA) preferred but not required.
  • 12-15+ years of experience in financial services, with meaningful exposure to technical product management, investor relations, investment consulting, or private markets (e.g., private equity, private credit, infrastructure, or evergreen products).
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with institutional or wealth clients, sales teams, and/or investment professionals in a client-facing or product-focused capacity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and tailor messages to varied audiences (investors, senior management, sales, and partners).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • High degree of ownership, organization, and attention to detail; comfortable operating with limited oversight while collaborating across a matrixed organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); strong aptitude for working with data, presentations, and reporting outputs.
  • Direct experience with private markets products or platforms, including commingled funds, evergreen vehicles, or customized mandates.
  • Familiarity with RFP/DDQ processes, investor reporting, and sales enablement tools.
  • Prior experience managing or mentoring junior team members and coordinating work across global teams.
  • Comfort presenting to senior internal stakeholders and external clients, including at conferences, investor meetings, and firm-wide events.


Travel Requirements:
  • Approximately 50%+ domestic and international travel may be required, depending on platform coverage and client locations.
