Responsibilities
- Oversight of the operations department personnel in their daily duties. Interacts daily with all departments at the Hub to foster better communication and productive relationships
- Develops procedures and guidelines to effectively disseminate information between various departments
- Oversees the coordination of station activities with SOC/MOC on cancellations, delays, equipment routing, aircraft moves, etc. Coordinates with Capacity Planning on future schedule changes. Acts as a liaison between Envoy, American Eagle, American Airlines, and the FAA to enhance the hub's operational performance
- Communicate and coordinate with other airlines for aircraft movement and ramp control oversight
- Able to perform all duties under sometimes stressful conditions beyond the employee's control while attempting to influence a favorable impression of American Eagle, American Airlines or any other contracted airline service provided by Envoy
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills in addition to proven leadership and teamwork skills
QualificationsWho are we looking for?
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous experience in a supervisory role
- Extensive operational working knowledge and experience
- Ability to develop presentation for senior management
- Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
- College degree, preferred
- Operational working knowledge and experience in a large station or HUB, preferred
- Possess the legal right to work in the United States
