Full Job Description
Job Description

We are looking for a Managing Director who thrives at the intersection of strategy and action - equally energized by opening a new relationship as by shaping the work that follows. You have spent your career in consulting, built a network that enterprise technology and SaaS leaders trust, and carry a point of view that earns you a seat at the table.

This role sits at the center of Sia's Marketing Advisory practice, focused on selling, leading, and scaling consulting engagements that help enterprise tech and SaaS firms transform their marketing operations and strategy. You will originate engagements, lead senior client relationships, and build the practice; bringing thought leadership that shapes how the market thinks about marketing transformation and AI.

Thought Leadership & Market Presence
  • Develop and champion a distinctive point of view on AI, marketing transformation, and enterprise marketing trends across client conversations and practice strategy.
  • AI-native operator - you use AI fluently across drafting, synthesis, and analysis. You think in agents and automation, not just prompts. You bring this capability to the role from day one
  • Design scalable operating models and delivery frameworks that maintain quality as the practice grows
  • Represent Sia externally through speaking engagements, panel moderation, industry associations, and executive-level forums
  • Demonstrate an established market presence, including membership in recognized advisory councils or industry organizations

Business Development & Client Growth
  • Originate and expand marketing advisory engagements with enterprise clients operating at the CMO and C-suite level, where enterprise marketing transformation decisions are made.
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets through your established network within enterprise technology and SaaS companies. Bring a track record of developing new business, deepening existing relationships, and converting opportunities into long-term engagements.
  • Serve as executive sponsor and trusted advisor for strategic client relationships, ensuring delivery excellence and measurable outcomes
  • Own the financial performance of your portfolio, managing engagement economics with discipline
  • Lead the work at a strategic level; Setting direction, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring quality all while empowering your team to execute.

People & Team
  • Build and lead a high-performing consulting team through coaching, mentorship, and clear expectations
  • Foster a culture that develops future leaders and creates advancement opportunities

How Success is Measured
  • Revenue growth: New logos originated and existing accounts expanded against defined targets.
  • Client impact:Measurable outcomes delivered and long-term relationships retained

  • Team development: Retention, advancement, and readiness of consulting talent

Qualifications

  • A network and presence within enterprise technology and/or SaaS (preferably within Marketing operations) with the ability to access and build relationships at organizations with significant marketing budgets and organizational complexity
  • Demonstrated experience leading and selling consulting engagements, not just delivering them
  • Deep expertise in enterprise marketing and a strong understanding of how AI is reshaping marketing organizations, operating models, and customer engagement
  • Strong commercial instincts comfortable with P&L accountability, pricing, and the economics of a consulting engagement
  • Exceptional communicator and presenter, with the executive presence to lead conversations at the most senior levels of a client organization
  • Highly organized and capable of managing a complex, multi-client portfolio without losing precision
  • Experience in GTM ecosystems of large tech and SaaS companies, performance marketing, product marketing, marketing operations, analytics
