Our Family Office team provides accounting and advisory services to ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, family offices, and their related entities. Services range from partnership accounting, financial reporting, cash management, and bill payment to advising clients on complex intergenerational wealth strategies, governance, and best practices.

In addition to delivering outstanding client service, this leadership role is responsible for leading and managing complex client engagements, ensuring exceptional service delivery, maintaining long-term trusted advisor relationships, and driving strategic growth of the Family Office practice in the Dallas market.

The ideal candidate will have an established network of attorneys, private bankers, wealth advisors, investment professionals, family office executives, and other centers of influence throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This individual will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing client engagements, representing Baker Tilly in the marketplace, and collaborating across service lines to deliver integrated solutions to clients.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA preferred; candidates with a JD or MBA are also encouraged to apply
  • Public accounting experience preferred
  • Twelve (12)+ years of progressively responsible experience in professional accounting, advisory, or family office services
  • Demonstrated success serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and family offices
  • Strong technical accounting expertise, including GAAP, with deep experience supporting partnership structures and fund management companies
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO), Sage Intacct, and other Family Office-centric accounting and financial management software
  • Strong project management, client engagement management, leadership, and client service skills
  • Tax experience or exposure preferred
  • Proven business development experience with a demonstrated track record of originating and growing client relationships
  • Established professional network within the Dallas-Fort Worth market, including relationships with attorneys, private bankers, wealth advisors, investment professionals, family office leaders, and other centers of influence
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to cultivate trusted advisor relationships, develop strategic partnerships, and represent Baker Tilly within the Dallas business community
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders
  • The compensation range for this role is $182,150 to $345,350. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
