Job Description:
About the role
OMD is seeking a senior Client Business Lead to lead one of the agency's largest and longest-standing client relationships.
The business represents hundreds of millions of dollars in annual paid media investment, a team of roughly 140 people, and a client partnership spanning more than 14 years. The account is one of OMD's largest US accounts and a marquee relationship across the Omnicom network.
Our OMD US client partnership operates across its 10 lines of business. The role calls for a senior client leader who can connect enterprise priorities with each business's distinct goals, earn the confidence of its CMOs and marketing leaders, and turn integrated media and marketing capabilities into measurable business outcomes.
The Client Business Lead will guide a complex, multidisciplinary team through an important period of change. Success requires equal strength in strategic counsel, disciplined delivery, financial stewardship, and the ability to build trust across the client, OMD, and the wider Integrated Agency Team. The OMD team is strong and established. Strategy, Analytics, Investment, Biddable/Addressable, and Brand leadership are already in place, with several senior leaders who have been on the business for years and are deeply trusted by the client.
Overview
This leader is accountable for the health, performance, and growth of the OMD US relationship. They will shape an enterprise view of the business while ensuring each line of business receives relevant strategies, responsive service, and clear accountability. They will lead the OMD team and coordinate closely with Omnicom and non-Omnicom agency partners across the Integrated Agency Team to deliver connected work. They will also help the client advance its marketing transformation and reshape the agency operating model, talent, processes, data, and technology needed to support it.
Key responsibilities
• Serve as the senior day-to-day business partner and trusted advisor to clients' CMOs and marketing leaders across its 10 lines of business; understand their individual mandates, commercial priorities, and measures of success while connecting opportunities across the enterprise.
• Build durable relationships with senior stakeholders, bring an informed point of view to consequential decisions, anticipate challenges, and offer candid, constructive counsel grounded in clients' business and the financial services environment.
• Set a clear client strategy and annual priorities for the partnership, balancing enterprise consistency with the needs of individual businesses; translate those priorities into integrated plans, accountable owners, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead strategy across brand, performance, customer acquisition, engagement, and retention, bringing together media, creative, data, analytics, commerce, and technology capabilities where they add value.
• Advance transformation by helping stakeholders align around new capabilities, better use of data and technology, more effective ways of working, and a practical roadmap for adoption and measurable impact.
• Transform the agency operating model to meet clients' evolving needs: clarify decision rights and roles, reduce duplication, improve workflow and governance, strengthen talent deployment, and raise the standard of execution across all 10 lines of business.
• Lead through servant leadership: set high standards, remove obstacles, coach and develop talent, share credit, address issues directly, and create an inclusive environment in which teams can do their best work.
• Unite the Integrated Agency Team across OMD, other Omnicom agencies, and non-Omnicom partners. Build mutual trust, shared planning rhythms, and clear escalation paths while putting the clients' outcomes ahead of agency boundaries.
• Ensure media investment, measurement, and optimization decisions reflect the demands of a highly regulated sector, including appropriate attention to privacy, data use, brand safety, approvals, and applicable client and legal requirements.
• Own the commercial health of the relationship, including scope, staffing, financial performance, resource planning and organic growth; address delivery risks early and invest in capabilities that improve client results.
• Establish transparent performance reviews and feedback loops with client leadership and the agency team; turn learning into concrete improvements in client experience and business impact.

Transformation leader. A leader who can turn ambition into adopted change inside both the client organization and the agency, with clear ownership and tangible improvements to how work gets done.
Servant leader and collaborator. A leader who enables others to succeed and can build a single, effective team across organizational and agency boundaries without relying on formal authority alone. Establish a close working partnership with other Omnicom agency partners for the benefit of the client and to drive agency organic growth.
