What You Will Do:

The Guidehouse Commercial Healthcare Payer/Provider Advisory candidate will have experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in performance improvement within Hospitals, Health Plans or Physician Groups. The Managing Consultant will work directly with clients to measurably improve their operational outcomes through a mix of workflow redesign strategies, improvement in resource utilization and reduction in variation in care. This is accomplished by leveraging a deep understanding of health system and ambulatory operational best practices supported by data.

He/she will work on the Guidehouse Commercial Healthcare Advisory team driving financial, clinical and operational improvement at client provider organizations through a combination of data and business process analysis, project management, and deliverable creation. He/she will have subject matter expertise in at least one of our solution areas and business acumen to become a recognized, credible, and trusted partner to our clients.

What You Will Need:
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm with client and Guidehouse teams to assess and implement improvement opportunities relevant in the client environment
  • Conduct relevant research, perform complex analytics on large data sets, and draw conclusions / make relevant recommendations based on analyses performed
  • Clearly articulates financial results of projects and speaks about process and sub-process measures for more than one area
  • Establishes account management relationships with key client counterparts
  • Identifies key industry issues and assists to develop practice response
  • Assists in delivering Statements of Work, Project Plans, Writes Proposals, Presents to Client Executive in certain situations;
  • Actively works to expand consulting skills and professional development through training courses, mentoring, and interaction with clients
  • Minimum bachelor's degree, graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum 4-6+ years' relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Previous consulting or health system leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of technology, tools and use of AI in client environments

The annual salary range for this position is $102,000.00-$170,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
