Full Job Description

This position sits within the Health Systems and Government Services (HGS) business under the Accelerate Pharmacy Solutions (APS) Accreditation Services Team. Works closely with other consulting professionals, responsible for delivering key components of client service engagements, managing Accreditation projects with multiple customers simultaneously, and supporting various aspects of practice development, as assigned. Ensures day-to-day provision of contract deliverables is completed and that expected service levels are met or exceeded for clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Scopes, plans, and manages one or more engagement work streams, ensuring quality and delivery requirements are achieved; structures deliverable content and develops recommendations and solutions.

  • Leads client meetings, project plan timelines, and sponsor updates.

  • Selects, modifies, and applies appropriate Methods, Approaches, and Tools.

  • Documents, escalates, and resolves engagement issues and risks.

  • Develops and presents deliverables and workstreams to clients.

  • Builds expertise in one or more solution portfolios.

  • Contributes to new and or enhanced Methods, Approaches, and

  • Tools. Assists with continual development of the product portfolio and creation of new solutions.

  • Contributes to publications and speaking engagements that build awareness of the solution for Cencora customers.

  • Travels to trade shows and conventions as may be required to assist with solution marketing. Occasional onsite travel to customers for meetings and project support may be required depending on contract requirements.

  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Education:

Active Pharmacist degree is preferred. Deep experience with accrediting standards and preparation for health system accreditation processes with entities such as URAC, ACHC, TJC, etc., is required. Advanced degree preferred, such as PharmD, MBA, MHA, MS, PMP; minimum of 3-5 years hospital/health system accreditation experience, or minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory or project lead consulting role, preferably within the healthcare field; relevant experience and/or certification in Lean, or Six Sigma, or Project Management desirable but not required.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of problem solving, performance improvement, process and clinical analysis methods and approaches

  • Pharmacy consulting role, will require specific primary and advanced health degree(s), such as Pharmacy, etc.

  • Experience and comfort presenting to audiences virtually and in-person

  • Project management skills and comfort engaging client stakeholders to drive to task completion as required for overall project performance required

  • Ability to work on tight timelines and produce deliverables and content for multiple customers simultaneously

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required; experience with Wrike or similar project management software desirable but not required

  • Ability to travel from time to time as required for business needs; not expected to exceed 20% travel, generally day trips or 1-2 overnights at a time

$119,100 - 186,560

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/NewYork/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
