BDO Canada is looking for a
Manager to join the
US Corporate Tax Services team in Vancouver. This is for an existing vacancy and the successful candidate will own the following responsibilities:
- Identify as well as develop and implement strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities for cross-border operations. This includes preparing & review tax reorganizations and reviewing tax returns
- Lead US Tax engagements for partnership, trust, and corporate clients
- Build positive working relationships with clients
- Participate in business development initiatives including identify new business opportunities with existing clients
- Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
- Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team

Your experience and education- You have completed your Canadian or US CPA designation
- You have years' experience in public accounting with experience supporting US Tax clients
- You have extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate and trust tax planning, and compliance
- You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
- You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
The expected salary range for this position is $92,000 - $138,000 annually
