Join Aprio's Advisory Team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio Advisory Group, LLC is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Manager to join their dynamic team.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manager to join our Unclaimed Property and Escheatment Services team. This role is ideal for professionals with 5-7 years of consulting experience who are passionate about helping clients navigate complex compliance requirements and minimize risk related to unclaimed property.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage unclaimed property consulting engagements, including compliance reporting, audit defense, VDAs, risk assessments, and remediation projects.
  • Serve as a primary client contact and trusted advisor for assigned engagements.
  • Review technical analyses, workpapers, reports, and client deliverables.
  • Lead discussions with clients, state administrators, and third-party auditors.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop associates and senior associates.
  • Manage engagement budgets, staffing, timelines, and utilization.
  • Support business development efforts through proposals, presentations, networking, and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology, automation, and data analytics to improve service delivery.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in unclaimed property, SALT, accounting, consulting, audit, or regulatory compliance.
  • Strong project management and client relationship skills.
  • Experience leading teams and managing multiple concurrent engagements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct unclaimed property consulting experience.
  • Experience managing audit defense and voluntary disclosure engagements.
  • CPA, CMI, JD, MST, MBA, or similar professional credential.
  • Public accounting or consulting experience.
