What You'll Do:
Guide and build out a UI/UX practice, partnering with Product Management, Creative Design, Development, and QA leadership to align design strategy with business goals.
Lead and grow a team of UI/UX designers being a player/coach yourself, helping direct and build full-cycle UI/UX from concept, prototype, design, to presentation of recommendations, inclusive of sketches, flow diagrams, wireframes, mockups and/or prototypes across user segments.
Establish and evolve metrics and research practices (user interviews, usability testing, market analysis) that drive product design decisions across the team.
With the help of your team, champion the design system and guidelines in partnership with cross-functional teams, driving consistency and scalability across the product portfolio.
Own hiring, performance management, and career development for the design team.
Coach and mentor designers, developers, and product managers on UI/UX best practices, raising the bar for craft across the org.
