Job Title: Manager, TikTok Shop Paid Media (LDB)

Division: Corporate (CDMO)

Location: New York, NY (USA HQ - Hudson Yards)

Reports To: Director, Paid Social

What You Will Do:

The Manager, TikTok Shop Paid Media, will be responsible for planning, activation, budget management, reporting and testing & innovation for the LDB division. The Manager will work in tandem with media teams, commercial leads, and agency partners to create, execute, innovative media strategies on TikTok Shop.

The candidate must have experience with media strategy on TikTok Shop and can bridge the gap between data and business insights. They should have a passion for the business of beauty and an ability to take complex subject matter, distill the information and communicate business insights across the organization.

  • Strategy & Planning: Owns TikTok Shop Paid Social (GMV Max) strategy and planning for brands. Leads brand-level tactical planning sessions and manages specific brand budgets and actuals. Defines operational framework for GMV Max and related initiatives. Helps drive the innovation agenda for TikTok Shop. Coordinates roadmap with Commercial teams and brand marketing. Is accountable for shoppable awareness driving tactics across upper and mid funnel activations.
  • Campaign Management & Reporting: Oversees best-in-class campaign structure, implementation and QA of GMV Max for assigned brands to ensure on-time and accurate launches. Performs daily monitoring of GMV Max performance including ROI, AOV, Conversion Rate, Content Strategy and more. Analyzes TikTok Shop Paid Media (GMV Max) performance and delivers platform specific, actionable insights. Leads reporting calls, providing concrete insights and actionable next steps for brand stakeholders and commercial teams.
  • Testing & Innovation: Identifies and pitches relevant "Test & Learn" opportunities (e.g., new campaign structures, creative testing) specifically for their brands. Works with the Director to align brand tests with the broader divisional learning agenda.


Skills Required:

  • Expertise with the Paid Social Advertising ecosystem in GMV Max or comparable channels (hands on keyboard experience a must)
  • Ability to implement media best practices to take full advantage of the Paid Media landscape
  • A working knowledge of all media channels and the prowess to remain diligent on market trends and market conditions
  • Demonstrated understanding of strategic planning and implementation in the digital space
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on process especially when managing numerous budgets and reporting to internal team(s)
  • Experience working with/ management of agency partners and internal teams
  • Ability to translate brand and campaign objectives into strategic optimizations
  • Demonstrated understanding of strategic planning, partnership development and program implementation
  • Ability to effectively present and persuade within individual or group settings through executive level reporting and communication
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and respectfully cross-functionally and create clarity within an emerging capability that touches multiple teams
  • Ability to analyze brand and campaign performance, as well as execute and present media investment performance clearly to key stakeholders and leadership

Judgment and Decision Making:

This role will require a balance of analytical thinking, communication skills and data management skills as it will require a demonstrated ability to develop consumer knowledge and insight and to act on the data in collaboration with internal brand & external account partners. It requires constant interaction within a matrixed business structure (Media, Marketing, Commercial) to coordinate work and deliver objectives. Actively builds networks and becomes in-house expert on the account to influence, convince, and introduce new ways of engaging our consumers via media. This will require a high level of interpersonal skill and diplomacy and demonstrated ability to justify online priorities and decisions to internal partners. The role will require strong time management, and prioritization skills.
