Compensation

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $103,600.00 - $172,600.00. This role is eligible for an incentive target of up to 15 %, based on the achievement of individual and company performance objectives in accordance with the current terms of the incentive program which are subject to change.

Position Details

The Manager, Team Member Relations provides leadership to a team of Team Member Relations Specialists who support administration of corrective action, review of corrective action documentation and conduct regular data reporting and analysis to support the department. You will be responsible for proactive and responsive approaches to team member relations issues that support a positive and productive work environment aligned with the culture of the company. This position ensures compliance with all relevant country laws, regulations, policies and practices. You will assist or take lead in the development of training, tools, templates, processes and reference materials, or other projects to support the Team Member Relations department. The position requires 2-3 days per week in our Lake Forest, IL office.

You Will
  • Build and lead a team of Team Member Relations Specialists that support policy management, conduct violations, non-exempt corrective action, etc.
  • Reports to the Sr. Director, Employee Relations.
  • Establish and drive Standards of Excellence for key team member relations processes regionally and globally.
  • Work with team members and their managers to understand perspectives and to guide toward resolution of conflict or issues
  • Recommends corrective actions, people practices, and process improvements to drive sustainable, integrated improvements in overall team member experience
  • Consults or leads difficult or complex team member relations issues, such as Performance Management issues, including PIPs, exit strategies and involuntary separations
  • Lead complex, high-risk, or sensitive investigations with advanced judgment, into allegations of violations to Title VII, company policy violations, complaints, concerns, and disputes and managing escalated performance improvement matters.
  • Oversees Case Management tools for documentation and effectively manage complex investigations to mitigate risk
  • Analyzes data/metrics for themes, trends and root cause identification. Share findings with key partners.
  • Create summaries and other documents related to the ER function. Oversee and participate in project work as needed to include training, facilitation of classes, research, and other projects that support the business.

You Have
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or Industrial Relations required
  • 5+ years of HR experience; required
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership skills, including coaching, developing and influencing high performing teams.
  • Strong positive employee relations skills, problem solving skills, including conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, interpersonal skills, organization, and analytical capabilities.
  • Proven experience owning strategic initiatives, managing multiple priorities, and implementing change management.
  • Bilingual - Spanish preferred
  • Ability to lift
