Responsibilities

  • Deliver onboarding experiences and performance management processes.
  • Oversee new hire onboarding from pre-onboarding to orientation sessions.
  • Manage the new employee experience during the first 90 days, including cultural immersion.
  • Lead annual performance management processes in collaboration with senior management.
  • Execute talent management processes for high potential identification and succession planning.
  • Create tools to support employee development discussions with managers.
  • Analyze talent data and report progress to HR leadership.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Deliver best-in-class onboarding experiences, performance management processes, and leadership development programs that support employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.


HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Onboarding: Oversee the process for all new hires from pre-onboarding through facilitating weekly new hire orientation sessions; partner with talent acquisition, payroll and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy, compliance, and smooth employee experience.
  • First 90 Days: Own the experience for our new employees' first few months, including planning and executing our cultural immersion program "First Gear".
  • Performance Management Cycle: Collaborate with Senior Manager, Talent & Organizational Development to lead annual processes from goal setting through year-end performance appraisal, aligning with business needs and incorporating best practices.
  • Talent Management: Collaborate with Talent Management team as well as Global HQ to execute leading processes for high potential identification, succession planning and global mobility.
  • Career Paths: Partner with Talent Development team to create and promote dynamic tools that support employees and managers in development discussions.
  • Talent Data: Analyze key data and metrics related to talent management and create a process to track and report progress to HR Leadership Team.
  • Work is directly related to the management or general business operations of the employer or the employer's customers.
  • The employee's primary duty includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
  • May manage contract resources supporting Talent Management initiatives.


WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Must be a high school graduate.
  • Bachelor's degree. preferred.
  • Master's degree a plus.
  • Six or more years of experience in human resources and/or talent management roles.
  • Prior experience leading performance and/or talent management processes.
  • Automotive experience a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing documents and preparing presentations.
  • Strong project management skills to deliver complex projects on time.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to lead sessions with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, including eye for process improvement.
  • Strong focus on working with and protecting confidential information.
  • Advanced skill level in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR or HCS is a plus; Familiarity with 360 and assessment tools or certification in related areas is preferred.


WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU

  • Compensation Range: $91,000 - $130,000
  • Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
  • Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
