Full Job Description
THE JOB

At VEG, we find a way to say YES - and this role brings that mindset to how Execution Operations (ExOps) delivers at scale. ExOps is the execution engine behind Talent Development, supporting 28 programs across four pillars. As VEG continues to grow and expand what is possible for VEGgies, ExOps is ready for its next evolution.

As Systems Manager, you will build the systems capability that allows the team to move faster, operate with greater visibility, and scale without breaking. You will evaluate workflows across Enrollment, Delivery, and Compliance; create dashboards, automations, and documentation; and partner with Innovations, S&I, Learning Tech, and teams across VEG to embed the right tools, including AI, into how ExOps operates. Your mandate is clear: create a systems engine that reduces manual work, strengthens operational intelligence, and enables ExOps to support more programs and more VEGgies over time.

In this role, you will own the design, build, documentation, and continuous improvement of that engine. Your impact will be a more connected, efficient, and resilient ExOps operating infrastructure.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Develop the Systems Roadmap: Continuously evaluate ExOps workflows across Enrollment, Delivery, and Compliance; identify recurring friction and infrastructure gaps; and partner with the Director of TD Operations to prioritize the systems capability ExOps needs next.
  • Own the Infrastructure: Build, maintain, and improve the dashboards, workflows, and operational tools that give ExOps and its partners clear, trusted visibility into schedules, enrollment, compliance, and other critical work.
  • Automate with Intent: Design and deploy automations across communications, scheduling, enrollment, and system integrations. Use AI agents and other tools where they meaningfully reduce manual work, strengthen reliability, and make ExOps more scalable.
  • Be the Connective Tissue: Partner with Innovations, S&I, Learning Tech, and teams across VEG to evaluate, connect, and embed the right tools and ideas into ExOps rather than building in isolation.
  • Drive Adoption: Build with the people doing the work, translate new tools into usable day-to-day workflows, and gather feedback so solutions are understood, adopted, and continuously improved.
  • Build for Durability: Document systems, processes, automations, and workflows so ExOps infrastructure can be understood, maintained, and improved without depending on one person's institutional knowledge.
  • Measure the Impact: Track whether systems are reducing recurring work, strengthening operational visibility, improving reliability, and helping ExOps support more programs and VEGgies over time - then use that signal to identify the next opportunity.

WHAT YOU NEED
  • 3-5+ years in an operations, systems, or analyst role with hands-on experience building or improving processes and workflows - BA or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience owning systems, workflows, dashboards, automations, or process infrastructure in an operations, systems, analyst, or enablement environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with AI tools and platforms - ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, custom GPTs, AI agents, or similar - used in an operational or professional context
  • Familiarity with workflow automation tools (Zapier, Make, or similar), dashboard or data visualization tools, and operational project management platforms (Monday.com, Google Suite, or similar)
  • Strong process design thinking - ability to look at how something works, identify what's inefficient, and build a better version of it
  • Comfort operating in an ambiguous, building-phase environment where the roadmap is collaborative and the work evolves - baseline project management skills are a strong plus
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time for on-site, in-person exposure and understanding of the job to be done.

WHO YOU ARE
  • Empathetic, instinctively taking a people-centric approach, whether supporting your colleagues or making an effort to understand different perspectives
  • Have a sense of humility; acknowledging mistakes, sharing credit with others, and lifting up your team's' accomplishments
  • Feel a strong sense of ownership over your work, taking responsibility for outcomes and staying committed to achieving long-term, impactful results
  • Curious by nature; you ask insightful questions and continuously seek out opportunities to learn and grow your skills and knowledge

HOW WE INVEST IN YOU
  • Competitive Compensation Including (insert base salary range here) + bonus + benefits. [For VP roles and above, we will also include "+ equity."]
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits that start on day one, and access to free therapy or counseling
  • Paid parental leave, up to 12 weeks at 100% of regular salary, and offering inclusive fertility and family-building care for all types of families
  • Unlimited PTO to use for vacation or sick days-however you need it!
  • Generous employee referral program, so our awesome people can bring in more awesome people.
  • And the little (big) things, like casual office attire, ability to bring your fur baby to work, cool VEG swag, food in the fridge for when you're hungry and free lunches twice a week!!
  • Company laptop and a monthly cell phone reimbursement
